125th Anniversary Celebration Gala – Sunday, October 19

Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m.

On Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m., all are invited to our 125th Anniversary Celebration! The program will feature exciting music performed on our newly renovated 1890 Woodberry & Harris tracker organ, made possible in part with a grant from the Middleborough Community Preservation Act (CPA). We’ll have performances by guest musicians and our well-known choir under the direction of Susan Hotchkiss. For the history buffs among you, we’ll have historical highlights of the church and town for the past 125 years.

The church is handicapped accessible – a longtime priority and source of pride. Child care will be provided. There will be refreshments following the ceremony. The church is most grateful to Middleborough and hopes this event will herald the start of a tradition of public concerts for your enjoyment.

Volunteer for a job to help make this a wonderful Celebration!

Some suggestions of ways to be involved:

  • Are you a take-charge kind of person? Have we got an opportunity for you! Be our Kitchen Manager for a day.
  • Not looking to be the boss? Great! Join our volunteer teams:

Be part of the Celebration’s Kitchen Team;

Help with set-up or clean-up;

Bake the gingerbread and oatmeal cookies your grandmother used to make;

Join Avis Clay and Mike Schroeder on the Celebration’s Decorating Team.

We want to make this event as memorable as we can. Please email or call Susie Sherman.
