Coyote Trickster
From ancient times, the Trickster has played an important role in bridging humanity’s relationship with the divine. Think of Loki in Norse mythology, Prometheus in Greek legend, Jacob in Hebrew scripture, Coyote tales from North America, Anansi from West Africa, Reynard the Fox in Europe, kitsune from Japan, the crow and the raven and other figures who fought with, bargained with, laughed at, and defied the powers that be in order to benefit humankind. Accept the ethical challenge they pose to us all.
