Rev. Sarah Person preaching
Helen Pickett once wrote “Humbly we stand in the face of death. Confidently we stand with life. Our strength is the strength of many. Indeed, it is the strength of all humanity throughout all time; because we share one fate and a great compassion.” Today we remind ourselves, fearlessly, that to live is to live with love and to live with loss. Today we celebrate our courage to love in the face of mortality. Today we offer compassion to all because of our humanity. Join us for our All Souls Service – a service and ceremony of remembrance to honor our dead and give support to our living. A vocal ensemble from the Chalice Choir will be singing. The full Chalice Choir will be singing in the concert at 2:00.
