Sunday, September 11, at 10:30 a.m. – Where We Were Then

Sunday, September 11, at 10:30 a.m.
Rev. Sarah K. Person preaching
On this, the fifteenth anniversary of September 11, we take a look back on what we understood then and what we understand now about terror and redemption. For some, it was a demarcation line in our lives, seeing the worst and the best of humanity. There were small anecdotes of heroism to overcome the huge episode of evil. It was a turning point in many lives, including my own. Is this the way it always is – good overcoming evil in steady, significant ways so that we can go on and hope? Join us for a look back and a look forward into healing. The Chalice Choir will be singing a song being learned by choirs around the world, to be recorded and posted on September 21, the International Day of Peace.
