Rev. Peter Connolly preaching Women's History month presents us with an opportunity to look back on the gains we've experienced in women's rights, even in our lifetimes, while recognizing that in some respects, there is still a long way to go to reach full equality. The Chalice Choir will be singing Blessing, a choral arrangement based on the traditional Irish Blessing.

Please consider joining us for one of our RE classes. We are a small but mighty group and welcome all newcomers. If your children are older, we have a youth group that meets twice monthly on Sunday evenings. All our children this year are “Building Bears of Wholeness” and collecting badges that support our values. There are always new bears for newcomers no matter the age or how long they join us! Religious Exploration ClassesAdditional badges will be offered every other week to ensure the children obtain the 16 badges for the lessons they had this year. They are inserting

Our Whole Lives is for youth ages 12 – 16. We have 3 leaders – Kelly Lownds, Greg Stevens and Katie Melchior – sharing the responsibility and privilege of teaching OWL to our youth. The OWL group is meeting today in the Avis Clay Parlor at 12:30 p.m.
Humanist Voices in Unitarian Universalism
Humanist Voices in Unitarian Universalism
Rev. Connolly will be offering a class on Unitarian Universalist perspectives on religious humanism. The text we will be using is entitled, Humanist Voices in Unitarian Universalism, which the UUA bookstore describes as follows, "Unitarian Universalist Humanists present their faith perspectives in 23 engaging and thought-provoking essays. They explore Humanist history, beliefs, approach to life, social justice, community, and religious education." The class will be offered in six 90-minute sessions on Sundays at 12:30 pm, beginning on January 21. Today's class is meeting in the Parish Hall.

Chalice Choir Rehearsal
The Chalice Choir is a volunteer group that meets in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. This choir sings every other Sunday from a wide variety of choral anthems, most set in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Membership is open but limited. he Team brings news and information to the congregation about social justice events and activities being held in our community, offers training and runs events that are of major interest to church members, and actively supports several local organizations including Bridgewater Committee for Civil Rights (BCCR). The Brockton Chapter of the NAACP, the Matthew Mission Food Pantry, and Sustainable Middleboro. The Social Justice Team meets every other Friday.
