Drumming Workshop with Sam Holmstock
Parish Hall 25 South Main Street, MiddleboroughJoin us for an exciting one-hour workshop on drumming presented by Sam Holmstock. Sam has been drumming for most of his life. He received his training at Berklee College of Music and is well known through Cape Cod drum circles as well as Drum Strategies for Healing. Sam will teach us a hybrid technique that combines African and AfroCuban styles. Participants can use any drum that sits on the floor and is high enough to go above the knees. That includes Djembes, Congas, Ashikos, Cajons, or 5–7-gallon buckets with Remo Rhythm Lids on them.
