Build a Bear of WholenessSunday mornings we head downstairs after the Message for All Ages and learn more about creating a home.  In January we made hearths, and in February we will share the heart of our homes with each other and our families. Nursery During the Worship Service   Niko Pucillo-Dunphy and Jesse Hoyle offer child care during the church service.  Please feel free to bring your infants and toddlers to have fun with Niko and Jesse while you are in the sanctuary participating in the service. Youth Group is meeting today from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  We will continue with the element of air, and we always share dinner.

The children collected their first “I am” badge and reviewed the meaning of “threshold” and being welcoming.  Additional badges will be offered every other week to ensure the children obtain the 16 badges for the lessons they had this year.  They are inserting the badges into their build-a-bears.  Next month we will be talking about legacies and some of our Unitarian Universalist heroes. The OWL group has changed its meeting dates this month to March  3 and March 17 to accommodate schedules. We are meeting today in the Avis Clay Parlor at 12:30 p.m.

Religious Exploration ClassesAdditional badges will be offered every other week to ensure the children obtain the 16 badges for the lessons they had this year.  They are inserting the badges into their build-a-bears.  Nursery During the Worship Service   Nursery is still being led by Niko Pucillo-Dunphy, who receives support from Jesse Hoyle as the second in charge.  We have two toddlers and are always ready to welcome more young children/infants if they are interested in joining us on a Sunday morning. Please consider joining us for one of our RE classes.  We are a small but mighty group and welcome all newcomers.  If your children are older, we have a youth group that meets twice monthly on Sunday evenings.  All our children this year are “Building Bears of Wholeness” and collecting badges that support our values.  There are always new bears for newcomers no matter the age or how long they join us! Our Whole Lives is for youth ages 12 – 16.  We have 3 leaders – Kelly Lownds, Greg Stevens and Katie Melchior – sharing the responsibility and privilege of teaching OWL to our youth.  The OWL group is meeting today in the Avis Clay Parlor at 12:30 p.m.

A Note from the DREPlease consider joining us for one of our RE classes.  All our children this year are “Building Bears of Wholeness” and collecting badges that support our values.  Our goals for our children are to have time for faith, fellowship, food and fun; and we work hard to provide this!  There are always new bears for newcomers no matter the age or how long they join us.  We have a nursery with two babysitters each week for young children and infants as well as a Religious Exploration class for children.  Enrollment is ongoing and can be completed
