The Bridgewater Public Library has a photo exhibit on The A-Bomb and Humanity on display throughout September. This display commemorates the anniversaries of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings (1945) and all the suffering surrounding these events. Social Justice Choir at BSU
Social Justice Choir at BSU
Beginning September 7; Thursday rehearsals. Open to community members of all ages. Email Dr. Sarah McQuarrie at smcquarrie@bridgew.edu to sign up or to ask for more info about this intergenerational choir dedicated to singing music that promotes a message of peace and justice as well as performs acts of community service. No auditions. The choir includes music majors as well as folks who don’t read music and everyone in between. Four-part choral repertoire with emphasis on composers from under-represented populations.
