A Short History of Middleboro
Jeff Stevens presenting A brief overview of the early history of our town, including early Indian history before the Europeans’ arrival, will be presented. The impact of the first contact with European traders and fisherman, the arrival of the Pilgrims and the first white settlers to the area will be discussed. This presentation will include an overview of early Middleboro “town” history through the American Revolution.

Grand entry at 12:00 noon.$15 admission, $10 for elders, children under 5 free The annual tribal homecoming showcases Wampanoag culture, community and tradition. The three-day event will feature drumming, dance and singing competition, and food and craft vendors. Also included are traditional tribal ceremonies and events. Beach chairs and sunscreen advisable.
