The Chalice Choir is a volunteer group that meets in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. This choir sings every other Sunday from a wide variety of choral anthems, most set in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Membership is open but limited. New Medicare Observation Status Appeals Processes
This free webinar will explain new rights of appeal gained from a national class action suit by the Center for Medicare Advocacy, Justice in Aging, and pro bono law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The presenters include one of the litigators who won these rights for people reclassified from inpatient to observation status. A Q&A session will follow.
Medicare enrollees who are classified as observation status during a hospital stay cannot access Medicare coverage of nursing facility services. Instead, they must either pay out-of-pocket or forgo these medically necessary services altogether.
