Social Justice Team on Zoom
The mission of the Social Justice Team of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Middleborough is to help the congregation take actions that create positive change in people, in our communities and in the world. Unitarian Universalism is a covenantal theology of engagement. We covenant to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of all people and to promote respect for the interdependent web of creation of which we are a part. We draw inspiration and truth from experiencing each other and the world around us. We witness both the beauty and brokenness of our world, and we choose to do social justice
Full Moon Meditation on Zoom
Full Moon Meditation on Zoom
with Natalie Johnson
This month’s Full Blood Moon falls in the sign of Virgo. There will be a total lunar eclipse visible across most of the Americas from late Thursday night into Friday morning. During the eclipse, the moon’s surface will turn dark red for 65 minutes, hence the name “Blood Moon.” This eclipse in Virgo focuses on healing and reminds us that we each carry within us our own unique and powerful medicine. We are being called at this critical time to offer it lovingly for the healing of our Earth and all her children of every species.
