Full Moon Meditation on Zoom

This Full Moon falls in the sign of Scorpio, perhaps the least

understood and often maligned sign of the Zodiac.  It also follows

closely on the heels of Earth Day, the one day each year when humans celebrate the beauty and bounty of our planet, holding celebrations, festivals and ceremonies in honor of our beloved Mother Earth.  It has now been 54 years since the first Earth Day when we became aware of the deleterious effects our collective lifestyle was having on Her and yet… for the most part, we continue to ignore the warnings, the science, the ever more obvious signs that we are in danger. We blithely continue with business as usual.

Earth births us, holds us, feeds us, keeps us from flying off into oblivion, provides us with inspiration, beauty, medicines  and clear instructions on how to live that, unfortunately, we seem to have tucked away in a locked drawer and thrown away the key. We are created from and kept alive by the elements of air, water, fire and soil. We simply cannot live without Her.

Tonight let’s gather in circle to consider what might be at the root of our forgetting and see if we cannot help each other find our way back.
