New Moon Meditation on Zoom

This month’s New Moon falls in Pisces, the sign of the dreamer, the mystic, the visionary, the prophet, the one who sees all possibilities and remains positive in times of adversity, believing always that our better angels will emerge if only we remember to invite them in.
New Moon is a time for us all to dream, and the lingering cold invites us to go within and nurture ourselves with blankets, hot tea and perhaps some chocolate. Soon it will be Ostara, so we are encouraged to linger a little while longer in our caves and burrows, away from the harshness of light and share our dreams for the future, both individual and collective.
Together, in the dark of this moon, we can work to repair the broken and frayed strands in the Web of Life. If we each take hold of the piece nearest to ourselves, we can make short work of the repairs. Together we can add in dreams and ideas and beauty, reweaving a new tapestry with all the colors, all the textures, all the diverse ways in which beauty shows itself in our world. Tonight let’s circle together and weave a new reality into existence with our fingers, our vision, our hopes and dreams and our love.
