Two Stand Outs

BCCR (Bridgewater Communities for Civil Rights) is holding a Stand Out in front of Walgreen’s in Bridgewater Center from 10:00 to 11:00. BCCR recently was successful in getting the town of Bridgewater to officially change October 10 from Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Please come and lend your support…..bring a sign if possible or just stand with us.
We will also have a Stand Out on the church lawn from 11:30 to 12:00. Over the past couple of years, the SJT provided much education and discussion on the history and current issues impacting indigenous people of our area. We would like to show our support and show up as good neighbors and allies to those people who still live in our community. We invite you come and show your support for this important issue.
