Volunteer Opportunity: BAMSI Brown Bag Food Day

BAMSI, a Brockton-based nonprofit with an office on West Grove Street in Middleboro, is seeking volunteers for four teams:        3) and 4) at 9:00 and 10:30 To load the bags into two trucks and deliver them to residents of  Caffrey Towers (755 Crescent St) and Campello high rise (1380 Main St) in Brockton. Local Black History: Slavery and Freedom in Old Bridgewater

Local Black History:  The Old Bridgewater Historical Society (OBHS) will host a lecture by Dr. Kerima Lewis on Thursday, September 21 at 7:00 pm.  Dr. Lewis will speak on Slavery and Freedom in Old Bridgewater, at the OBHS building at 162 Howard St, West Bridgewater.  Admission is $5 at the door for non-members of OBHS.
