“be;” is a new group founded and led by LBGTQ+ leaders to provide a safe, affirming and open space for the LGBTQ+ and Adults with Differing Abilities to “gather, create, support, heal and come together.” They hold a monthly Parent/Caretaker support group on the first Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 at 71 Central Square, Bridgewater, and various social and creative gatherings featuring activities such as karaoke. https://be-community.org/

Parish Hall 25 South Main Street, MiddleboroughThe RE Committee is meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. We also meet on Zoom. Contact Kelly Lownds, DRE, if you would like to join the RE Committee meeting. The current committee members are Christine Hoyle, Chris Dargelis and Kelly Lownds. New members are welcome. Who Knew? Civil Rights Activists Who Led the Movement from behind the Scenes Join us for an enlightening series of webinars that shed light on the unsung heroes of the Civil Rights Movement. These five activists worked tirelessly behind the scenes to advance the cause of racial equality and social justice. Through their dedication and perseverance, they made significant contributions that helped shape the course of history. The series features: On May 29th, we’ll screen the new documentary about Dorothy Cotton: Move When the Spirit Says Move: The Legacy of Dorothy Foreman Cotton, and on June 5th, we’ll have a conversation with people
