Meditation Group
Church Parlor 25 South Main Street, MiddleboroThe Meditation Group meets every Wednesday afternoon in the church parlor to practice quiet meditation. It is open to those new to meditation as well as experienced meditators. Contact: Holly Begley or Diane Reed
Postcarding Party
Parish Hall 25 South Main Street, MiddleboroughA postcarding party will be held in the Parish Hall on Wednesday, September 11, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. We will have postcards from Workers Circle on which we will write messages to swing-state voters who have been identified as often not voting, encouraging them to get to the polls. We mention issues but not candidates. Bring colored pens if you have them, and let Lois Aldrich know you are coming--or just stop by!
RE Committee
Church Office 25 South Main St, MiddleboroOur RE Committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. We meet at the church, and new members are welcome. You do not need a child participating in the RE program to join, just ideas and a love of our youth. Please consider volunteering to teach downstairs for a section of our program. We also need volunteers to help with plays and skits during the year as well as readers for our Message for All Ages during the service. Please contact dre@uumiddleboro.org if you are interested.
