Event Series Hand Crafters Group

Hand Crafters Group

Church Parlor 25 South Main Street, Middleboro

Do you enjoy hand crafts such as knitting, crocheting, embroidery, needlepoint, quilting, etc.?  We are resurrecting our hand crafting group.  We gather once per month to work on our projects, offer support, and also make prayer shawls for folks in the congregation in need of comfort.  Come experts and newbies (we can help teach you) and gather for handwork, snacks, and conversation.  The Hand Crafters Group is meeting the third Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Avis Clay Parlor

Live Presentation on Gardening for Biodiversity with Native Plants

Amy Meltzer will present at this FREE event at First Parish of Norwell, 24 River St, Norwell, sponsored by Wild Ones and the Mattakeesett Garden Club. Learn how to provide habitat for pollinators, birds and other essential wildlife.

If you want something you can be sure will make a positive difference and even help mitigate climate change, as well as help you sleep at night in these fraught times, this workshop may be just what you need.

Note: The church calendar contains some events that are not open to everyone, so that we can plan for building use. Open events are shown on the home page. Click on an event to show the full description.
