The Elsie Gaudette Award can be given this spring (the third Sunday in June) to a person who exemplifies the service and dedication to this church that Elsie did for many years. The Elsie Gaudette Award Committee will be meeting to review the nominations.

Rev. Peter Connolly preaching I expect that many of us have felt part of a "tribe," a group we feel a part of, which helps give us self-definition, and allows us to feel part of a greater whole. When that sense becomes solidified into tribalism, though, there's trouble. We'll talk about that today. Special music will be a Sephardic song presented by Heidi Woofenden, Patty Simon, and Polly Jacobson.

A Note from the DREPlease consider joining us for one of our RE classes. All our children this year are “Building Bears of Wholeness” and collecting badges that support our values. Our goals for our children are to have time for faith, fellowship, food and fun; and we work hard to provide this! Are you interested in exploring Buddhism and the Buddhist tradition in Unitarian Universalism? Then you should consider joining us for a six-week class exploring that topic, beginning on Sunday, April 14 from 12:30-2 pm. Our Whole Lives is for youth ages 12 - 16. We have 3 leaders - Kelly Lownds, Greg Stevens and Katie Melchior - sharing the responsibility and privilege of teaching OWL to our youth. Our Whole Lives is meeting today and next Sunday, May 5, at 12:30 p.m. in the Avis Clay Parlor.
Chalice Choir Rehearsal
Chalice Choir Rehearsal
The Chalice Choir is a volunteer group that meets in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. This choir sings every other Sunday from a wide variety of choral anthems, most set in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Membership is open but limited. The Team brings news and information to the congregation about social justice events and activities being held in our community, offers training and runs events that are of major interest to church members, and actively supports several local organizations including Bridgewater Committee for Civil Rights (BCCR). The Brockton Chapter of the NAACP, the Matthew Mission Food Pantry, and Sustainable Middleboro. The Social Justice Team meets every other Friday.
