Peter Connolly preaching I expect that many of us have felt part of a "tribe," a group we feel a part of, which helps give us self-definition, and allows us to feel part of a greater whole.  When that sense becomes solidified into tribalism, though, there's trouble.  We'll talk about that today. Our Whole Lives is for youth ages 12 - 16.  We have 3 leaders - Kelly Lownds, Greg Stevens and Katie Melchior - sharing the responsibility and privilege of teaching OWL to our youth.  Our Whole Lives is meeting today and next Sunday, May 5, at 12:30 p.m. in the Avis Clay Parlor.

The Chalice Choir is a volunteer group that meets in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. This choir sings every other Sunday from a wide variety of choral anthems, most set in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Membership is open but limited. The PC Governance Team is meeting to review the organizational chart and discussion of committees and reports.

The Team brings news and information to the congregation about social justice events and activities being held in our community, offers training and runs events that are of major interest to church members, and actively supports several local organizations including Bridgewater Committee for Civil Rights (BCCR). The Brockton Chapter of the NAACP, the Matthew Mission Food Pantry, and Sustainable Middleboro. The Social Justice Team meets every other Friday.
