This month’s Full Moon falls in the sign of Aquarius, the Water Bearer. Although often associated with the element of water, it is actually an air sign and the higher octave of Gemini. Both rule communication, but where Gemini can be impulsive, unbridled and spontaneous, Aquarius is more refined, tempered and discerning… choosing exactly the right words and phrases to convey one’s true meaning.

Postcarding Party
Postcarding parties will be held in the parish hall on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 2-3:30 pm, and Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 6-7:30 pm. We will have postcards from Workers Circle on which we will write messages to swing-state voters who have been identified as often not voting, encouraging them to get to the polls. We mention issues but not candidates. Bring colored pens if you have them, and let Lois Aldrich know you are coming--or just stop by! Lois will mail the cards all at once in October.
