Music Sunday – From Darkness into Light
Church 25 South Main Street, MiddleboroIn celebration of Music Sunday, the Chalice Choir has taken on the challenge of Requiem, a multi-movement masterwork by John Rutter. Rutter, born in London in 1945, is one of the most prolific choral composers of our time. The Chalice Choir will be accompanied by Ruth Iampietro, Nancy Kidd, and Patty Simon. Special singers include Rev. Sarah Person and Kate Melchior. Spoken words will reflect the joys and challenges of life in this beloved community: supporting one another through tough times, celebrating happy moments, and reaching for eternal, all-embracing love.
