A postcarding party will be held in the Parish Hall on Wednesday, September 11, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. We will have postcards from Workers Circle on which we will write messages to swing-state voters who have been identified as often not voting, encouraging them to get to the polls. We mention issues but not candidates. Bring colored pens if you have them, and let Lois Aldrich know you are coming--or just stop by!

UU Middleboro thanks the Middleboro Rotary Club for the new Peace Pole they have installed on our front lawn. A dedication ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 15, at 12:30 p.m. on the church lawn. The Rotary Club and other community representatives will participate. The Social Justice Team will provide refreshments after in the Parish Hall. Church and community members will be invited to attend.

Who Knew? Civil Rights Activists Who Led the Movement from Behind the Scenes Join us for an enlightening series of webinars that shed light on the unsung heroes of the Civil Rights Movement. These five activists worked tirelessly behind the scenes to advance the cause of racial equality and social justice. Through their dedication and perseverance, they made significant contributions that helped shape the course of history. It is a terrifying time for trans people and loved ones.
