Special Vigil
Special Vigil
As in the past, we will be holding a special vigil on the morning of Thanksgiving Day as an opportunity to be in solidarity with the indigenous people upon whose ancestral land our church stands. We meet, worship, engage in activities and enjoy fellowship on the traditional land of the Wampanoag people who live among us to this day. We seek to be good neighbors and allies in their continued struggle to be seen and respected. We acknowledge that the day known as “Thanksgiving,” while representing a beginning for the Pilgrims and those who followed, was in reality the ending
Peace, Justice & Equality Vigil
Peace, Justice & Equality Vigil
We will continue scheduling weekly ½ hour vigils on Saturday mornings from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. In addition, we will be offering training to help us respond to folks with strong opinions. If you are interested in standing with us but would like the training first, please add your name, but put an X in the first column. All are invited to join in. Sign up for training and/or the vigil by visiting Vigil Sign-Ups.
Note: The church calendar contains some events that are not open to everyone, so that we can plan for building use. Open events are shown on the home page. Click on an event to show the full description.
