Who Knew? Civil Rights Activists Who Led the Movement from Behind the Scenes Join us for an enlightening series of webinars that shed light on the unsung heroes of the Civil Rights Movement. These five activists worked tirelessly behind the scenes to advance the cause of racial equality and social justice. Through their dedication and perseverance, they made significant contributions that helped shape the course of history. The series features: Sept 25, 2024 Zoharah Simmons: A Freedom Summer volunteer and SNCC member who later became a professor of African American Studies and Religion, dedicating her life to social activism and

The Social Justice Choir of Bridgewater will again be exploring issues of civic engagement through song and action. All ages, abilities, and political affiliations are welcome. They will rehearse weekly on Thursdays, 5:30 - 7:00 pm, at the Rondileau Campus Center, Room D17E, at Bridgewater State University.
