RE Build a Bear of WholenessThis week we will continue our lesson about transitions, moves and friendships. Our story this week is Owen and Mzee. We will make friendship bracelets and share out stories about transitions. Nursery During the Worship Service Niko Pucillo-Dunphy and Jesse Hoyle offer child care during the church service. Humanist Voices in Unitarian Universalism
Humanist Voices in Unitarian Universalism
Rev. Connolly will be offering a class on Unitarian Universalist perspectives on religious humanism. The text we will be using is entitled, Humanist Voices in Unitarian Universalism, which the UUA bookstore describes as follows, "Unitarian Universalist Humanists present their faith perspectives in 23 engaging and thought-provoking essays. They explore Humanist history, beliefs, approach to life, social justice, community, and religious education." The class will be offered in six 90-minute sessions on Sundays at 12:15 pm, beginning on January 21, and, if there is enough interest, a second section will be offered on Wednesdays, also at 12:30 pm. Chalice Choir Rehearsal
Chalice Choir Rehearsal
The Chalice Choir is a volunteer group that meets in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. This choir sings every other Sunday from a wide variety of choral anthems, most set in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Membership is open but limited.
