Rev. Peter Connolly preaching The Pagan, Jewish and Christian traditions all celebrate holy days in the Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.  Today, we'll look at how the traditions developed and how they can inform our spiritual journeys.  The Chalice Choir will be singing.

A Note from the DREPlease consider joining us for one of our RE classes.  All our children this year are “Building Bears of Wholeness” and collecting badges that support our values.  Our goals for our children are to have time for faith, fellowship, food and fun; and we work hard to provide this!  There are always new bears for newcomers no matter the age or how long they join us.  We have a nursery with two babysitters each week for young children and infants as well as a Religious Exploration class for children.  Enrollment is ongoing and can be completed

The Peaceful Quilters meet every Tuesday in the Parish Hall.

Help is available to assist with meals and more during illnesses or other family emergencies.  You are always invited to call or visit our minister to discuss any matter of concern to you.

The Chalice Choir is a volunteer group that meets in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. This choir sings every other Sunday from a wide variety of choral anthems, most set in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Membership is open but limited. “be;” is a new group founded and led by LBGTQ+ leaders to provide a safe, affirming and open space for the LGBTQ+ and Adults with Differing Abilities to “gather, create, support, heal and come together.” They hold a monthly Parent/Caretaker support group on the first Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 at 71 Central Square, Bridgewater, and various social and creative gatherings featuring activities such as karaoke. https://be-community.org/

The Team brings news and information to the congregation about social justice events and activities being held in our community, offers training and runs events that are of major interest to church members, and actively supports several local organizations including Bridgewater Committee for Civil Rights (BCCR). The Brockton Chapter of the NAACP, the Matthew Mission Food Pantry, and Sustainable Middleboro. The Social Justice Team meets every other Friday.
