Autumn Concert

In Memory of Avis Clay

 Mark your calendars for “Autumn Concert” on Sunday, November 19, at 3:00 at UU Middleboro. The concert will take place in the Sanctuary and will run for about an hour, followed by a reception downstairs in the Parish Hall.  

“Autumn Concert” is free and open to the Middleboro community and surrounding towns. The program features a broad collection of music ranging from classical to contemporary, from organ to hammered dulcimer, from flute to double bass, from choir to solo to ensemble. Performers include members and friends of UU Middleboro as well as guest musicians. There is no charge; donations are welcome.

For many years, the Middleboro Music Guild offered a community concert the Sunday before Thanksgiving. The Guild is no longer in existence, but the desire for a fall concert open to the community the Sunday before Thanksgiving lives on. “Autumn Concert” is supported by the family of Avis Clay, who recently created a music endowment for UU Middleboro. Avis loved the wide variety and excellence of music shared by this church.

\UU Middleboro is located at 25 South Main Street. Handicapped access is available by an elevator at the rear of the Sanctuary. For easy access, enter the church by the ground-floor entrance on the right as you face the building on Main Street. All are welcome.
