Food Handler Certification is required by the Town of Middleborough for anyone who handles or prepares food for the UU Middleboro church. There is no fee if you take your certification through UU Middleboro. For your convenience, we have two dates set up for the training and exam. The certification will expire at the end of December 2023. This certification is also valid for other Town agencies serving food.
It is easy to become certified. You watch a video (approximately 40 minutes) and answer 10 questions on an exam which is corrected by the Town Health Dept. Please sign up for either October 16 or November 6 (both at 2:00). There is a sheet on a cabinet in the Kitchen, OR you may call the Church Office at 508-947-1935. If you need certification and neither date works for you, please contact Valarie in the Church Office.
