Immigration Realities: A Post-Election Perspective Online

Ernesto Castaneda will speak on his new book, Immigration Realities: Challenging Common Misperceptions. He will share his perspective on how misconceptions and misinformed assumptions about immigrants played in the election. and how they will likely continue to influence public opinion and policy for the foreseeable future.

Dr. Castaneda is Director of the Center for Latin American and Latino Studies, the Immigration Lab, and the Masters in Sociology, Research, and Practice at American University in Washington, D.C.
