Sunday, May 22 – Music Sunday
Join us for Music Sunday 2022 as we Hear, Heal, and Hope our way into a celebration of music. The Chalice Choir will present A Ukrainian Prayer, newly composed by living legend John Rutter, and Sing Gently by Erik Whitacre who presented this piece in a virtual format involving 17,572 singers in July of 2020. In addition to the choir, there will be an instrumental offering from Nancy Kidd as well as other soloists and smaller ensembles of singers and players. This worship service is designed to look deeply into music as a participatory art form, strengthening our community and allowing us to carry forth with strength and purpose.
