Stolen Relations: Centuries of Native Enslavement

November 15, 2023 @ 6:00 pm 7:30 pm

The 4th live event in the Partnership of Historic Bostons’ series on New England Indigenous history will be streamed on Zoom. This evening is on the Stolen Relations project which is putting together names and stories of thousands of the estimated 2.5 – 5 million Native Americans enslaved in the Americas from 1492 to 1900, in every European colony. This is a shocking number even compared to the approximately 10.5 -12 million Africans who were brought as slaves from Africa during this same period.
