Virtual New Moon Meditation

This month’s New Moon falls in the sign of Libra, the sign that brings us equilibrium and balance. Everything in life has an opposite, and both sides are needed to experience the fullness of life: light and shadow, prosperity and lack, success and failure, love and fear. We must experience all of these things to grow into our highest expression and to gain both wisdom and empathy.
Join us this night as we accompany Persephone on her yearly return to the Underworld, taking with her the abundance of summer and bringing in its stead the colder, fallow days to come. Autumn is a time of sacrifice; plants wither on the vine, and trees gracefully surrender their leaves in a final brilliant show of color. What is given back to the Earth now becomes compost for new life in the time ahead. We invite you to gather in the Dark of the Moon to reflect on the journey we all must take and to decide what you are willing to surrender in order to bring forth new beginnings. All are welcome.
