UU Middleboro Covid Policy

Revised and adopted by the Parish Commitee on August 28, 2024

We seek to be a community that is inclusive, hospitable and safe for all people. To this end the Parish Committee has adopted the following Covid safety protocols:

The CDC revised its Covid safety guidelines in March 2024. While the CDC no longer uses color codes in its guidelines, it continues publish Covid risk by county in the US, using low, moderate and high ratings.

  1. If you have symptoms of Covid and/or you have tested positive, please stay home and attend our services online. Stay home until your symptoms have improved and you have no fever when NOT taking fever-reducing medication. Wear a mask when going out among people for the next 5 days.
  2. Wearing a mask is always your option. It is very helpful if you are at high risk because of a medical condition, age or vaccination status.
  3. Please wear a mask if you have been exposed to someone with Covid, in the last three days, even if you have no symptoms
  4. Being vaccinated in recommended. The benefits far outweigh the risks.
  5. Because there are asymptomatic carriers of Covid, wearing a mask is strongly advised when the risk level in Plymouth County is high.
