We’re using a tested script, so it’s easy, no creativity required (though we’re encouraged to use colored pens, if we want, to enliven our handwritten cards). At the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Government Center at 29 Holland Mill Road, Mashpee (off Great Neck Road just south of #483). The Tribe invites us to the Honor the Earth Fair featuring exhibitors and vendors with a shared mission to protect and preserve the ancestral homelands of the Mashpee Wampanoag. We need small appetizers that will be set up at "stations;" and since we have chafing dishes, they can be warm and, of course, you can bring food in crock pots. So far we have 4 commitments. The Team brings news and information to the congregation about social justice events and activities being held in our community, offers training and runs events that are of major interest to church members, and actively supports several local organizations including Bridgewater Committee for Civil Rights (BCCR). The Brockton Chapter of the NAACP, the Matthew Mission Food Pantry, and Sustainable Middleboro. The Social Justice Team meets every other Friday.

Peace, Justice & Equality Vigil
We continue scheduling weekly ½ hour vigils on Saturday mornings from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the church lawn. All are invited to join in. Contact Dody Adkins-Perry (adkinsperry@gmail.com) with any questions.
