Our first RE Committee meeting will be Wednesday September 6, at 7:00 p.m. We will meet at church, and new members are welcome. You do not need a child participating in the RE program to join, just ideas and a love of our youth. Please consider volunteering to teach downstairs for a section of our program. Beginning September 7; Thursday rehearsals. Open to community members of all ages. Local Black History: The Old Bridgewater Historical Society (OBHS) will host a lecture by Dr. Kerima Lewis on Thursday, September 21 at 7:00 pm. Dr. Lewis will speak on Slavery and Freedom in Old Bridgewater, at the OBHS building at 162 Howard St, West Bridgewater. Admission is $5 at the door for non-members of OBHS.
