FUUSM has been an accredited “Green Sanctuary” since March 2011. To continue our accreditation “UUA’s Green Sanctuary 2030: Mobilizing for Climate Justice” “road map” provides a supported process for congregational transformation on climate. Established in 1989, this is the seventh iteration of the Green Sanctuary Program. Learn more about Green Sanctuary 2030 vision, mission, and outcomes and how to promote and use ethical practices to maintain our status in this program.
Towards that process we have developed a Green Sanctuary Covenant for FUUSM, and we need your input. Please look over the sample Green Sanctuary Covenant and give us your thoughts on revising and/or modifying this sample so we can generate our own FUUSM Covenant. Also, please give us your thoughts for future Green Sanctuary ideas/projects for our own building and community.
