Social Justice Team on Zoom

The mission of the Social Justice Team of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Middleborough is to help the congregation take actions that create positive change in people, in our communities and in the world.  Unitarian Universalism is a covenantal theology of engagement.  We covenant to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of all people and to promote respect for the interdependent web of creation of which we are a part.  We draw inspiration and truth from experiencing each other and the world around us.  We witness both the beauty and brokenness of our world, and we choose to do social justice

New Moon Meditation on Zoom

with Natalie Johnson This New Moon falls in the sign of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac and its mover and shaker, the initiator of action.  Ever since Mars went direct last month, it has been full speed ahead for intentions, desires and manifestations.  Whatever we planted as seeds and left in the loving care of the Devas is now ready to move forward with speed and assurance as Aries and Mars lend their energies to the mix.  https://zoom.us/j/91347227142 Now is the time to fine-tune our dreams and desires, making sure that what we ask for is really what we want.

De-Escalation Training – Still Some Spaces Left!

This event will be hosted by the North Congregational Church (the little yellow church) located at 38 Plymouth Street, Middleboro.

This 5-hour workshop is a rare opportunity for a more comprehensive training with Meg Stone of IMPACT Boston than the 2-hour workshop we hosted two years ago. It is also an interfaith collaboration, co-sponsored by the North Congregational Church, where it will be held, and Lakeville United Church of Christ.

We are a place of growth and creativity! At UU Middleboro we strive to create a program that allows our children to explore their ideas and faith in a safe and nurturing environment.  We draw our curriculum from the Tapestry of Faith on the UUA website for both the children and the youth.  We work hard to allow for the children to enjoy faith, fellowship, food and fun!  Registration is rolling throughout the year and is available here. Religious Exploration Registration Form (google.com) Kelly Lownds, Director of Religious Exploration
